FOB: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter

 Shoppers Drugmart had these Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters on sale this Sunday and Monday. Since I already own one in Peach Parfait which I love, I grabbed two more shades.

 075 Lollipop is a fuchsia with fine blue shimmer while 015 Tutti Frutti is a tangerine coral with no sparkles. They are both great for the spring and summer season ^^

Last but not least, Shoppers had them on sale for only $3.99CAD! They usually retail from $8-$10 dollars so these were a steal. If you have time before this sale ends, I would reccomend you to grab a few. The lip butters aren't usually this cheap =]

CinnaBunnie Loves: Etude House Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips in #3 Miss Sunny Tangerine

I stumbled upon an Etude House while I was in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I was so excited that I squealed when I saw it! The exterior of the store was so pretty: pink, feminine, cottage-like. I wouldn't mind living in a house like that! It was late August when I bought this small treasure. It was kind of shocking because the Miss Tangerine collection came out during spring 2011. They might still have some Miss Tangerine items left.

Claims: "Glossy, moist lipstick in fabulous Tangerine shades for juicy, tangy lips." This is an accurate description of the product.

This Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips is basically a lipstick with a finish of a lipgloss.

Make sure that the product is sealed! I find that Etude House has seals on all or most of their lip products which is really nice~

Texture & colour: This lipstick applies smoothly and it just melts onto the lips. It provides a brilliant shine for a lipstick-almost glossy looking-that lasts for 30 minutes to an hour. It feels moisturizing at first but the moisture disappears with the shine. The colour, however, lasts up to 5 hours. #3 Miss Sunny Tangerine is true to it's name. It is a youthful and cheery reddish orange sans shimmer. This colour really flatters my golden skin. Since it wears almost like a lipgloss, the colour is not opaque but it is definitely buildable.

You can really see the shine when you rub off the first layer of product. 

The stain that it leaves behind is really lovely! I have a soft spot for corals and oranges. ^^

Ingredients

Application & packaging: Sweet Shower Lips uses a twist up mechanism in which you have to remove the seal. The mechanism only goes one way so you can retract the lipstick. If you twist up too much product, you will easily nick it when you put the cap on. I adore Etude House packaging! This Miss Tangerine collection is my favourite yet! I love the peach and orange packaging as well as the cute pictures on the sturdy box. I believe the cap and body of the lipstick is plastic except for the polkadotted orange band. It has a nice weight to it and does not look or feel cheap at all!

 Price & availability: I bought this in Taiwan for around $220-350TWD which about $7-12CAD. I remember it being inexpensive :) Etude House is only available in certain parts of Asia including Taiwan, South Korea, and Philippines. This collection was released in March so it is very likely that many items are already sold out at stores. There are always products that can be bought online from Ebay and beauty stores.

Flavour & scent: This lippie has a tangy citrus scent. It fades after being worn for a bit and the scent is not overpowering. The flavour resembles how it smells. Is has the same scent as my Orange Avenue lipgloss.

Overall: Etude House Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips in #3 Miss Sunny Tangerine is made for me! I love the fresh and sunny stain that it leaves behind and it lasts for a decent amount of time. The packaging is super cute and the quality is great for the price! This lippie would get a grade of 100% if the moisture and shine last for 2 hours. But this is still LOVE~ 9/10

Spotted! Revlon Custom Eyes Shadow, Liner & Mascara & Covergirl NatureLuxe

Just a quick post of the stuff I saw at Loblaw the other day. I hope you're not tired of these posts yet but it seems as though Canada is being hit with a lot of new makeup collections! 

Revlon Custom Eyes Shadow & Liner

I was surprised at the speed of receiving new makeup displays. Usually when our buddies in the States get a fresh collection, we don't get it until 3 months later ><

I also saw the Custom Eyes Mascara with the adjustable bristles on the brush.

 They aren't exactly pigmented but I think it will be good for those with dry lips that want extra shine. It also smells like vanilla~

Spotted! Get Fresh Faced in 5 with Joe Fresh

recently, i stumbled upon this interesting looking palette during my visit at loblaw ^^ (i love that place. lawl.) i would like the palette better if they used a sturdier material as to just plain cardboard. i do, however, like the soft focused spots that they printed on the palette. 

this palette features 4 eyeshadows, 1 lipgloss, 1 lipstick, 1 blush and 1 bronzer which retails for $20CAD. i've seen these palettes popping up at various superstore and loblaw chains. 

these shadows look pigmented enough

the proportions are generous but not too much that it'll take a million light years to finish (although none of us really ever finish up an eyeshadow...). i think the eyeshadows may be full size though.

so a 5 minute face...sounds promising ^^ and im glad they used colours that would work well with a variety of skin tones. im not very sure about the blush though. it might not show up on darker skin :S

Swatched Up a Storm: Marcelle Rouge Xpression Lipsticks

these are marcelle's new line of lipsticks. they feature a formula that provides lips with hydration and volume (in a plumping sense). more details here ^^ they were just released at walmart and i just happened to be there when the lippies were still brand new =] i slicked one on and lemme tell ya, the formula glides like a dream X3 offering great pigmentation (it was enough to cover my natural lip colour with just one swipe). i tried on sincerity which is a light nude pink with mauve undertones. i think this is my favourite and if im gonna pick it up, it's gonna be this one =)

FOB: Annabelle Custom Quads & Revlon Colorburst

You must be like, "WTH?? FOB does NOT go with a post like this..."

think again.

FOB may be known as Fresh Off (the) Boat and I find myself using this term quite often but that's not what I'm referring to. FOB=Fresh Off the Buy which is a haul but translated to my lingo rofl. yeah, I did my best to be creative =_=" haha. Anyways, I went to Shoppers today and I was fortunate to run into some new Annabelle goodies. I also picked up the "OH-SO-Pretty-and-Awesome" Revlon Colorburst Lipstick. (I just found out that Pharmplus is having a 50% off sale for all lip products...GRRRR. too late. I already used it and I've got to say, I'm impressed)

I thought it would be totally matte but obviously you can see some shimmers in it. (wellll at least you should. except my camera isn't all that great) This pretty lippie (hah. I rhymed) was originally $11.49CAD but it was on sale (which I wasn't aware of until I checked the receipt). Got it for $10.99CAD.

When I saw this, I knew I had to get it. LE. that obvi pulled me in ^.^ They had another palette too: Soar (pretty milky blue with a nice sheen to it), Whipped (iridescent white), Purple Reine (gorgeous royal purple), Smoked (slightly metallic gray). Both cost $15.99CAD which is a great buy because you get four eyeshadows and the palette (it's magnetic btw). They usually cost $5.99CAD regular but they often go on sell for $3.99CAD.

The one that I got is great for those people that love bright colours. Especially greens and blues =D Clockwise from left: Martian (grass-like green with iridescentish flecks), Misted Up (silver with shimmer), Funburst (olive gold with slight shimmer), Laguna Surf (bright aqua blue with shimmer). I really don't know why I got this because I have really similar colours such as Nymphet and Gold Digger...don't get me started on greens :P maybe I just have a fetish with it or something..
