FOB: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter

 Shoppers Drugmart had these Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters on sale this Sunday and Monday. Since I already own one in Peach Parfait which I love, I grabbed two more shades.

 075 Lollipop is a fuchsia with fine blue shimmer while 015 Tutti Frutti is a tangerine coral with no sparkles. They are both great for the spring and summer season ^^

Last but not least, Shoppers had them on sale for only $3.99CAD! They usually retail from $8-$10 dollars so these were a steal. If you have time before this sale ends, I would reccomend you to grab a few. The lip butters aren't usually this cheap =]

Bronze Intrigue Limited Edition Collection

The product that intrigued (haha) me the most is the L'Oreal HiP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolor. They look highly pigmented and I really love corals ^^

This is a really good deal bundle since the Magic Perfecting Base usually retails for a high price. If you had your eye on this for a while, it's a good time to get it! The coloured primers look interesting enough =P They seem a little gimmicky to me though since coloured primers never work on me.

Revlon Romantics Limited Edition Collection

You see those little round pots? Those are the new Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Balm. I can tell you that the texture is rather hard and slightly sticky. It applies super sheer (probably won't show up on lips) and it gives a shiny finish. It also includes a brush hidden in the top compartment. All shades have sparkles. My friend recently bought one and she told me about the product. 

Random question: Would you swatch a product if it was already swatched and opened although it wasn't a tester? *Before I saw the Revlon display, one of the lip balms were already opened :/ Some had broken the seal and swatched it!*

Just a quick post of the stuff I saw at Loblaw the other day. I hope you're not tired of these posts yet but it seems as though Canada is being hit with a lot of new makeup collections! 

Revlon Custom Eyes Shadow & Liner

I was surprised at the speed of receiving new makeup displays. Usually when our buddies in the States get a fresh collection, we don't get it until 3 months later ><

I also saw the Custom Eyes Mascara with the adjustable bristles on the brush.

Covergirl NatureLuxe Collection

 My friend decided to get two of these so she was kind enough to let me swatch them :)

 They aren't exactly pigmented but I think it will be good for those with dry lips that want extra shine. It also smells like vanilla~

Spotted! Revlon ColorStay Aqua Mineral Makeup

I went to Zellers just today and I was suprised to see this new mineral makeup from Revlon. If you're interested, be sure to check it out. There is a brush on the top of the cap and it looked soft enough :P Just remember to look up high and low because the display was placed on the highest level of their display aisle. You can see pictures here ^^

Spotted! Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Coral Reef

aaaaah. It seems like the last time I did a Spotted! post was years ago... I'm glad to be back in action ;)

I went to Pharmaplus today and was really happy and ecstatic when I saw the Revlon collection that had the highly raved  CORAL REEF Super Lustrous lipgloss as part of the display! The display also had the other colours: Peach Petal, Fire Cracker. No sightings of Lilac Pastel though :/

Bunnie Likes: Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain & Balm

throughout the year, many cosmetic companies have jumped on to the lip stain bandwagon. so what makes the revlon just bitten lipstain & balm stick out from the crowd? besides that the names of the shades mildly relates to twilight *shivers*, a moisturizing balm is incorporated since stains tend to be drying.

FOB: Busy June

through out the month of June, it was rather hectic...alas, time has come for me to post about things that I picked up :) (i know i know. its AUGUST. sssshhhh. i got lazy :P) FOB=fresh off the buy. although this isn't as 'fresh' as i want it to be

I love cute Asian snacks. Maybe it's because of the kawaii cartoons on them or their plain yumminess that i can't seem to resist. YEAH IM A FATTIE. haha i got some from Hong Kong when my relatives came over and the rest are from Toronto..Pacific Mall to be exact ^^

Liplicious Lip Color and Lip Scrub in Watermelon (smells delicious)

A while back, Pharmaplus had 50% off sell on all lip sticks and glosses. I picked up Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Let Me Pink, Annabelle Le Gloss Stick in Naught Nectar, and Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in Rosey Nude. Sadly, that colour didn't look that flattering on me so I gave it to my mom.

I heard that the blush in this palette is a great dupe for Nars Orgasm Blush and it was only 10 bucks at Shoppers! It's the Rosalie palette btw. I used to be a fan of this whole saga, but after discovering that a bunch of preteens went all gaga over this, it immediately put me off -_-''

the lip gloss colours are pretty but they go on sheer (pretty, but useless). the eyeshadows are alright. although they are awfully shimmery, the colours show up and they differ from one another. the blush is just....ya know ;)

Walmart

the Revlon Just Bitten lipstain was tempting. it wasn't terribly priced either. for $8.49CAD, you get a creamy balm as well as a lasting stain. i got the passion one (juicy bright pink)

the new react 5 gum. i was merely surprised to find that the gum itself is black. the flavour didn't last as long as the colour though :( fruity, citrus, tropical melange of..oranges and mangoes?

Trendyland: Lip stains

Is it just me or is the idea of lip stains hitting every drugstore brand?

For me, I'm a fan of lip stains because I tend to drink a lot of water especially in the morning so lip gloss or lipstick is out of the equation. Lip stains provide a nice wash of colour and it is generally long lasting. I just hate getting sticky lip gloss and clingy lipstick on my water bottle =P (i'm not really the cleaning type. haha) Lip stains are easy to use and portable. It's kinda like a sharpie but for your lips. They provide a nice base for lip gloss and lipsticks and when it's layered under another lip product, it can really enhance the hue! Perfect for summer months. ya know, with all those intense workouts and vacations ;D If you've never used one before, try imagining eating a cherry (i prefer strawberry) popsicle and having that juicy pop of colour transfer onto your lips ^.^ gotta love those popsicles....
