FOB: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter

 Shoppers Drugmart had these Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters on sale this Sunday and Monday. Since I already own one in Peach Parfait which I love, I grabbed two more shades.

 075 Lollipop is a fuchsia with fine blue shimmer while 015 Tutti Frutti is a tangerine coral with no sparkles. They are both great for the spring and summer season ^^

Last but not least, Shoppers had them on sale for only $3.99CAD! They usually retail from $8-$10 dollars so these were a steal. If you have time before this sale ends, I would reccomend you to grab a few. The lip butters aren't usually this cheap =]

If you happen to see the colour swatches on the Joe Fresh website, the colours are totally off. Unless I mixed up the names with their respective colours.

The colours were really similar when I saw them in the store. But you can see that Rose is a little cooler with slight mauvy undertones (a baby pink) where as Apricot is more peachy. I can't wait to see the rest of the colours!

This is the second cream eyeshadow I've seen so far. Guava is a warm pink with gold flecks in it, if I remember correctly. You can see the other cream eyeshadow in Cactus I blogged about here.

 It's a good time to try base makeup from Joe. Liquid and cream foundations and powder are all on sale! A pretty sweet deal.

Sinful Colors' Nail Junkie was found in the H2O collecion and the Nicole by OPI's Nicole...Spotted! was part of the Gossip Girl collection released in 2010.

They are exact copies of each other, both in the bottle and on the nails.

Due to my crappy impromptu nail painting skills, the side of my fourth finger has a lot of the big flecks of iridescent glitter. In the photo, it looks as if there are no big flecks but the truth is, they are really hiding on the side of the nail (near the cuticle). I am 99.9% sure that they are dupes of each other! Yay! The Sinful Color Nail Junkie is still the cheaper alternative ($3.99CAD). 

Here ya go! Both NOX Twilight and Nicole by OPI Gossip Girl nail polishes are on sale for $4.98CAD! They are both a steal and considering that NOX Twilight polishes are typically available online for $6.99USD, get it while you can! You might have to look high and low because I found these neatly tucked under the PUPA and the Balm displays (large stationary ones).

Spotted! Joe Fresh Cream Eyeshadow in Cactus & Blush in Rose

I saw this Joe Fresh display at my local Loblaw. They both have semi-matte packaging and the cream eyeshadow in Cactus is a bronzey moss green with gold flecks in it. The cream blush in Rose looks like a rosy baby pink.

Spotted! Limited Edition Covergirl Clean Compacts

Spotted these LE CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder compacts at Shoppers Drug Mart (currently $7.99CAD) and a portion of the proceeds will go towards getting children in Africa clean water ^^ So it's a very good cause. The only variations of the powder that I saw were the normal(brown/cheetah) and sensitive(green/snake) type. I find the oil control(blue/zebra) to be the most appealing. Sadly, they didn't carry it.

The product that intrigued (haha) me the most is the L'Oreal HiP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolor. They look highly pigmented and I really love corals ^^

This is a really good deal bundle since the Magic Perfecting Base usually retails for a high price. If you had your eye on this for a while, it's a good time to get it! The coloured primers look interesting enough =P They seem a little gimmicky to me though since coloured primers never work on me.

Revlon Romantics Limited Edition Collection

You see those little round pots? Those are the new Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Balm. I can tell you that the texture is rather hard and slightly sticky. It applies super sheer (probably won't show up on lips) and it gives a shiny finish. It also includes a brush hidden in the top compartment. All shades have sparkles. My friend recently bought one and she told me about the product. 

Random question: Would you swatch a product if it was already swatched and opened although it wasn't a tester? *Before I saw the Revlon display, one of the lip balms were already opened :/ Some had broken the seal and swatched it!*

Spotted! Annabelle 4Show & Day Dream Spring 2011 Collection

The Annabelle 4Show Collection was released not so long ago but it looks like this isn't the actual spring collection. I saw this at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. Annabelle says that these products are for makeup junkies who want to express their inner artistry! 

The Annabelle 4Show Collection features:

I really like Coralicious! It's a beautiful pinky coral colour hehe I have a soft spot for corals.

The eyeshadows are really lacking in pigmentation when used dry and the texture is on the harder side. Not velvety smooth :(

I also saw Annabelle's new LipStain Markers and Smoothie Eyeshadow Pencils at Shoppers but it was a different store. These two specific products are exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart and they are also limited edition! I am always intrigued about new lipstains (still waiting on the NYC ones) so if I get the chance, I will definitely try them.

If you are dying to try out the LipStain Markers(~$8.95CAD), you better get them quick because they're limited edition >< I swatched these and they're like any other lipstain in terms of use and application. It's exactly like a marker, easy to control.

These Smoothie Eyeshadow Pencils(~$8.95CAD) are exactly how they are named: they glide on like a dream. If you've ever used an Annabelle smudgeliner, it's even smoother than that! You slick it on, wait for a minute or two, and BAM! It stays put without fading or smudging. I washed my hands with the swatches on and they didn't budge.

Grapefull stand out to me the most because it has blue shimmers in it, giving it a very mysterious effect.

Now, the actual Spring 2011 collection is called Day Dream. Featuring bright fun colours like flamboyant yellow, you're bound to scream spring (and Easter)! 

This limited edition collection includes:
